PhD research

I am researching null subjects, acquisition and change in the history of English and British Sign Language. 

I am supervised by Dr Marieke Meelen and Professor Ianthi Tsimpli and my advisor is Professor Adam Schembri

I am very grateful to be funded by ESRC DTP 1+3 studentship, match funded by Trinity Hall, Cambridge

Research Assistant for the BSL Definition Task Project

I am helping to standardise a BSL vocabulary task and to make it available for practitioners and teachers of deaf children. Children's performance on this task has been shown to be a significant predictor of both BSL comprehension and English reading comprehension.
